Gary Kubiak is back with the Houston Texans, but the coach might not be on the sidelines Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
Kubiak told reporters Friday, via the Houston Chronicle, that he might lead his team from the press box.
After suffering a mini-stroke on Nov. 3, Kubiak returned this week and thinks he should be fine Sunday. He said he could perform all his duties from the box.
Kubiak will resume his offensive play-calling duties if he can coach Sunday. In that scenario, offensive coordinator Rick Dennison would move to the sideline and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips would hold the challenge flag. But Kubiak would retain all decision-making.
"I'll be hollering (to) throw it or don't throw it," Kubiak said, per ESPN.com.

The play-calling scenario shouldn't disrupt the offense, as Kubiak said he has been relaying the calls through quarterbacks coach Karl Dorrell all season. Kubiak coached from the press box when he was the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2005.
Kubiak rushed back to work from a mini-stroke because his job could be on the line. His team entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations but has lost seven consecutive games.
